One of Oracle's lead governance, risk and compliance software strategists breaks down Oracle's new GRC Suite and explains what Oracle GRC technology will look like in the future.

Software initiatives related to governance, risk and compliance (GRC) are high priorities for CIOs these days -- primarily because of the unprecedented rise in data retention regulations like HIPAA -- and Oracle has taken notice.

Earlier this year, the company released its new Oracle Governance, Risk and Compliance Suite, which combines content management capabilities it acquired from Stellent Inc. with compliance functionality from the Oracle E-Business Suite. caught up with Chris Leone, group vice president of Oracle's applications product strategy, to find out more about Oracle's overall GRC strategy.
