Win2K login error

I have a standalone system with a Win2K Server OS and Oracle 9i installed. When I login through SQL*Plus, I don't run into any trouble, but the moment I login through "http://oracle:7778/isqlplus" link, it throws an error, "ERROR: ORA-12638: Credential retrieval failed."
If you are running the HTTP server from the same ORACLE_HOME as the database, then check to make sure that you can also login using SQL*Plus from the same ORACLE_HOME as where the HTTP server is running. You mention that you can login through SQL*Plus, but I presume that SQL*Plus was running on a client system (not the database server) and that the client may have different configuration settings in the sqlnet.ora file. If you can login using sqlplus from the server just fine, then you should check the logfile for the isqlplus application or the HTTP server for errors. Last resort would be to file a TAR if nothing else is apparent.
