I installed Oracle 9.2 and everything seems to be running fine. However, when I connect using Enterprise Manager and start the SQL worksheet, the listener terminates. Do you know what's going on?
I have not experienced the symptom you're seeing, so I'd expect that you are experiencing a bug in the release or a platform-specific bug. The first thing I would do is to apply the 126.96.36.199 patchset and see if your issue disappears. You should also set a password on the listener just incase it is someone or something stopping your listener remotely. If it is still unclear what's happening to the listener and the listener.log file doesn't suggest anything obvious, you can also enable listener tracing using the trace_*_
If none of those avenues uncover anything, then you should file a TAR with Oracle Support.
