Where to view log of exported objects?

Where can I view the log of an exported object? I exported a table and found that it is not recorded by Oracle for display in the DD view dba_exp_objects. I need to audit the export of objects by users.

DBA_EXP_OBJECTS will only show incremental export operations. It is possible for users to perform a FULL or TABLE export without doing this incrementally. So DBA_EXP_OBJECTS will not show anything for that export job. You will not be able to use this view to perform auditing of exports. And Oracle does not have any native capability to audit export operations either. This means you'll have to code your own audit routine. One way to accomplish this is to rename the "exp" utility to something like "oracle_exp." Then write a shell script (or other language) which writes entries to the audit trail and then calls oracle_exp for the user with the parameters they gave. Call this shell script "exp" and the user won't be the wiser. They will think they are calling Oracle's exp utility but in reality, they are calling a wrapper script which performs your audit actions. This method is not perfect, but it does work.
