Tools for monitoring Oracle databases

I need to monitor several Oracle databases. What tool do you recommend which could alert me (via email) if something goes wrong in the database?

I need to monitor several Oracle databases. What tool or tools do you recommend which could alert me (via email) if something goes wrong in the database? I'm using Oracle9i (latest version) on Windows and Unix. Also, does Oracle supply any scripts for this type of monitoring?
I would recommend Oracle's Enterprise Manager. This product comes free with your database software. You can set Enterpise Manager to look for certain conditions and email and/or page someone when that condition is found.
