Tool to manage cluster nodes

If I am using Oracle9i in a Solaris cluster platform with Oracle RAC installed, should I use the Solaris cluster manager or the Oracle RAC tool to manage cluster nodes?
For management of the nodes themselves, you would use the OS cluster tools. For management of the Oracle instances in the cluster, you would use your RAC tools. One is for the OS level, the other is for the database level.
