Our database is 8.0.5 and I want to implement a database replication. Can you please send me advice on what to do first? Thank you very much.

You can use Oracle's Advanced Replication, but in Oracle 8.0.5, this product incurs an add-on cost. To make matters worse, Oracle will not sell you this product for the 8.0.5 version as this version is desupported.

In my opinion, you are better off upgrading to Oracle 10g and using Oracle Streams to perform your replication. You can read all about using Streams for replication here.
