Setting the timeout in listener.ora

How should I set the timeout in listener.ora? I would like to know the correct syntax, please.

The only timeout parameter in the LISTENER.ORA file is the INBOUND_CONNECT_TIMEOUT parameter. The time is specified in seconds. To set the connection timeout to two seconds, add the following line to your LISTENER.ORA:

INBOUND_CONNECT_TIMEOUT_listener=2

The above example assumes that your listener name is "listener." If the name is different, make the appropriate substitution above.
