Setting ADMIN_RESTRICTIONS_listener_name in Oracle 8.0.5

Can Oracle 8.0.5 set ADMIN_RESTRICTIONS_listener_name?

Who wants to know? If you're running 8.0.5 and it supports ADMIN_RESTRICTIONS_listener, then you should definitely set it, but I don't think that listener vulnerabilities are your biggest problem. If you're running an application that only supports 8.0.5, then you should consider running a different application, as 8.0.5 has been desupported long enough that I hear more about 7.3.4 than 8.0.5. I'd try setting it and if the listener won't start, then it probably isn't supported. The 8.0.5 documentation is online on OTN, so you could check there to be sure.

Bottom line, upgrade to a newer (preferbly supported) release.
