I want to restore my one Oracle backup to another location. How do I set up my database (which tablespace and datafile do I have to create in the new one) so the database imports successfully to the new one?

  2. STARTUP MOUNT the database.
  3. For each datafile in the new location, issue the following:

  4. Open the database with ALTER DATABASE OPEN;
