Resolving circular dependency between view and procedure

I am receiving the errors "ORA-00604: error occurred at recursive level 1" and "ORA-01000: maximum open cursors exceeded." It appears as if I have a circular object dependency between a view and a procedure I created. I've been able to re-create a new view/procedure, but I am unable to drop those existing objects.

Take a look at the OPEN_CURSORS initialization parameter. In SQL*Plus, connect as SYS or SYSTEM and issue "SHOW PARAMETER OPEN_CURSORS." You will need to increase the value of this parameter. You can increase this parameter while the database is up and running with the following command:
ALTER SYSTEM SET open_cursors=XXXX;
where "XXXX" is some value larger than its current value. Once you have adjusted this parameter, try your operation again. At your discretion, you can set this parameter back to its original value once you have completed your operation.
