Recovering data after upgrading to Win2000 Server

We've lost Oracle 7.1 on a Windows NT 4.0 Server. Our licence agreements insist we install Win2000 Server. We have Oracle 7.1 drivers, and we have data on tape backup and copied onto the same directory on the new server, using the same directory name and same domain name. After installing Win2000 Server and the Oracle drivers, how do I recover the data?
Oracle 7.1 will not run on Windows 2000. Or more correctly, this version is not certified for that platform. It is highly likely that you will have difficulties that you will not be able to work around. I would recommend finding a Windows NT server that you can restore your database back to. Once you have the database up and running, you can then create an export and then copy the dump file to another platform and import into a newer, certified version of Oracle.
