RADIUS authentication in Oracle

I want to know about RADIUS authentication in Oracle. I have a Windows platform with RADIUS. Also I have Oracle 8.1.7 on Linux and I want users to be authenticated through the RADIUS. Can you tell me what to do? When I try to do this something is wrong. Should I have Oracle and RADIUS on same machine or can I use separate machines?
RADIUS and Kerberos authentication is quite a topic! So much so, that I think I will defer to the Oracle documentation. Please visit the Oracle Advanced Security Administrator's Guide, specifically Chapter 4, Configuring RADIUS Authentication. If you don't have the Oracle documentation, then you can find it on Technet.

The chapter cited above can be found at the following URL:
http://download-west.oracle.com/docs/cd/B10501_01/network.920/a96573/asoradus.htm#1004667

Hopefully, that one chapter will answer most of your questions.
