Problems installing Oracle 9i on Windows 2003

I am having two problems:

  1. While installing Oracle 9i on Windows 2003, the database configuration assistant is not configuring and not starting after installation. The error is ""class not found and the file is i18n.jar"", but this file exists in the specified location.
  2. While opening the database with OEM, I am getting the following error: :SID given in connect descriptor could not be resolved.
You must be installing 9i Release 2 (9.2.0) and you must also install patchset 9.2.0.3 in order to be supported on Windows 2003 Server. If you have done all that correctly, then I would open a TAR with Oracle support to resolve the issue as it sounds like something specific to your installation.
