Problem with dblink: ORA-02085

I tried to create a database link with the following statement:

SQL> create database link link1.satyam.com connect to banko identified by
banko using 'gemico1';
ERROR at line 1:
ORA-02085: database link LINK1.SATYAM.COM connects to GEMICO1.SATYAM.COM

There is a parameter in init.ora called GLOBAL_NAMES. If you change it to false, you can do your database link and it will work.

The dblink was created sucessfully, but when I tried to query the remote database using the dblink, I got the following error: The solution suggested for this error is that the name of the database link should be same as the name of the database it is connecting to. But if this is the case, then how do I connect different users on the same database, as only one dblink can be created for one database. Does it mean that I must, every time, drop the dblink and create a new one for the other user I wish to connect to?
