Oracle vs. Access

We use Access as a database. Somebody suggested we use Oracle instead of Access. I cannot find any comparison or white paper that can explain the difference of Oracle vs. Access. I have to justify the change to an Oracle database to upper manangement. Can you point me in the right direction?

We are using testers in our manufacturing process. These testers have to access a database on the network to access and store data. Today we are using Access as a database. The testers are old and need to be replaced. Somebody suggested we use Oracle instead of Access. Well, that is where I have a hard time. I cannot find any comparison or white paper that can explain the difference of Oracle vs. Access. I have to justify the change to an Oracle database to upper manangement. Can you point me in the right direction?
Is Access working satisfactorily for you? If so, stick with it. If not, Oracle may be appropriate, but so might other solutions. Be aware that comparing Access to Oracle is like comparing a bicycle to a BMW--Oracle is much, much more powerful (and expensive).
