I am trying to install 9.2.0.1 on Windows 2003, Enterprise and standard. It succesfully installed Oracle and performed the Net Configuration. When it creates the database through DBCA and goes to option COMPLETING DATABASE CREATE and tries to "clone the database," the operation hangs up at 88%.
Look through the installation logs usually located in C:\Program Files\Oracle\Inventory\logs. The logs will have a name similar to installActions<date_and_time>.log. These may provide additional information for why you are seeing this behavior.
As well, you should check the DBCA logs for additional errors. These logs are generally located in $ORACLE_HOME\assistants\dbca\logs.
