Opening a database with a missing datafile

Can you tell me the procedure to open a database that has a missing datafile because of deletion? The database is in noarchivelog mode, there's not any backup and the version is 10g Release 2.

Hello Brian, can you please tell me the command(s) or procedure (if there is one) to open a database that has a missing datafile because of deletion? The database is in noarchivelog mode, there's not any backup and the version is 10g Release 2. It doesn't matter if the data is lost or inaccesible, but I just want at least to open the database. Note: There are eight datafiles in the tablespace of which one datafile was accidentally deleted. Thanks in advance.
Perform the following actions:
  1. STARTUP MOUNT
  2. ALTER DATABASE DATAFILE '/directory/file_name' OFFLINE DROP;
  3. DROP TABLESPACE ts_name;
  4. ALTER DATABASE OPEN;
Those commands should get your database open, but without the data.
