ORA-01034 error on creating database using dbassist

I installed Oracle on Sun Solaris. When I create a database using dbassist, it gives me an ORA-01034 error.
The ORA-1034 error indicates that the database is not running. For some reason, the DBCA could not start the database. You'll have to consult your database's alert log to find out why it was not started.
