What is the basic method of learning SQL? How can I become the master in running queries in seconds? Please help me out and suggest some exercises.
My suggestion for learning SQL is to read Jim Hoffman's excellent tutorial Introduction to Structured Query Language. This tutorial used to be located at http://w3.one.net/~jhoffman/sqltut.htm but has been removed, and I'm not sure where it went. There's a mirror of version 4.54 dated 10-18-2000 here but I'm not sure it's the latest, or even an authorized mirror.
Another excellent place to learn SQL is the W3School's SQL Tutorial.
