Migrating data to new server without loss

We use Oracle 9.2.0.4 on SLES 8.1. Now we are planning to change the server to Solaris 10x86 and Oracle 10g. It will be a new, more powerful server. How do I migrate my data from the old server to the new server without loss? Using exp/imp or other instruments?

So long as your database is not terribly big, you can use the export and import utilities to perform your server move. This may be one of your only options since you are changing from one OS to a different OS. This document shows you how to use exp and imp.
