Is Oracle Designer the best way to do an ER diagram?

I am tasked with doing an ER diagram for our current database. Is Oracle Designer the best way to develop this? Are there other software products that anyone would recommend to me? I would hope to accomplish this without manual intervention.

I am tasked with doing an ER diagram for our current database. Is Oracle Designer the best way to develop this? Are there other software products that anyone would recommend to me? I would hope to accomplish this without manual intervention.

Microsoft Visio has an ER diagram wizard. You simply connect to the database via ODBC and Visio will read your schema and create the ER diagram for you. It only takes a minute or two, even for complex schemas. This might be something that you wish to research more to see if it fits your needs.
