Insufficient privileges installing 9i on RHEL4

I am installing Oracle 9i on RHEL4 and after 93% it gives me an error: "You don't have sufficient privileges to write to the specified configuration assistant 9.2.0.1.0 ..." Can you give me a link or PDF documents to solve this problem?

I have seen a similar issue reported due to a bug when installing Oracle 9.2.0.4 on Linux. This can be due to not having the $ORACLE_BASE environment variable defined prior to attempting the installation. $ORACLE_BASE needs to point to a valid directory with privileges matching the user and group that is installing the software. Here is an example:
mkdir /oracle
chown oracle oracle
chgrp dba oracle
export ORACLE_BASE=/oracle
Try the installation again from a session where you have defined and exported ORACLE_BASE prior to attempting the installation again.
