Installing Oracle 9.2.0.1 from CD to Windows 2003 server

I am trying to install Oracle 9.2.0.1 from CD to a new Windows 2003 server that is not linked to any other server. I am doing a local install as Adminstrator.

The install process fails at the end of install and hangs with this message: "copying oraprtop9.dll." There is no activity is on the task manager, and only indication is in log, stating, "configuration tool agent - configuration agent failed."

Sounds like the installation was successful if it was trying to run the configuration tools. I'm not sure why it is failing, but I don't think you've got a failed installation -- just a failure to start the assistant. I'd continue on as normal. Make sure you install at least 9.2.0.3 patchset as that's the first version supported on Windows 2003 (I think).
