In your Solaris server, you'll have to create an Oracle database. You will also have to create any tablespaces that your dump file needs to import data to. Once that is done, it is simply a matter of importing the contents of your dump file. This can be done as follows:
imp userid=system/manager file=mydump.dmp full=y log=imp.logIf there are errors, they will show up in the import log file created above. Fix the errors and try the import again.
