Important configuration parameters for Oracle on Solaris

What are important Oracle configuration parameters to check to set up an Oracle database in a multi-homed Solaris server?

All configuration parameters are important! But if you are asking which INIT.ORA parameters probably deserve the most attention, then I would suggest looking at the following:

DB_BLOCK_SIZE
DB_BLOCK_BUFFERS
SHARED_POOL_SIZE
SORT_AREA_SIZE
DB_FILE_MULTIBLOCK_READ_COUNT
LOG_BUFFER
TIMED_STATISTICS (always set to TRUE!!!)
COMPATIBLE (set to your current db version)
LOG_ARCHIVE_* (set the various log archive params)
JAVA_POOL_SIZE
