Is there a way to import only the data -- not the table structure?

Is there a way to import only the data -- not the table structure?
The table must exist, otherwise the data will have nowhere to go. So assuming the table already exists, you can import just the rows of data from the dump file with the IGNORE=Y parameter. This way, the import process will ignore the error it gets when it tries to create the table and the data will be appended to the preexisting table.
