How to recover if incremental backup fails

If somehow only Tuesday's backup did not run or failed, then can I use the whole week's backup to restore and recover the database? In this situation what would be the backup strategy?

I have an RMAN backup stratagy: Every Sunday a level 0 backup is performed and every Monday to Saturday incremental backups are performed. If somehow only Tuesday's backup did not run or failed, then can I use the whole week's backup to restore and recover the database? In this situation what would be the backup strategy? Thanks.
If Tuesday's incremental level 1 backup was missed for some reason, then you need not worry. Wednesday's incremental backup will pick up the changes from Monday. And if you should have a crash before that backup, the archived redo logs contain all of the changes. Missing an incremental level 1 or 2 backup is not a major problem.
