How to perform an incremental level 0 backup

Our Database Backup and Recovery expert explains how to perform an incremental level 0 backup in RMAN.

How can I take the RMAN incremental backup in Oracle 9i and 10g? Please send some sample script to take backup like: Sunday 0 Monday 1 Tuesday 2 level backups.
To perform an incremental level 0 backup, just issue the following in RMAN:

run {
backup incremental level 0;
}

You can change the zero to a '1' or '2' for other incremental backup levels. So the script is as easy as using the above. For more RMAN information, please read the following docs:
