I am in need of a user-friendly GUI-based auditing software for Oracle to monitor our DBAs' behind-the-scenes SQL and data changes. Our internal auditors want the ability to track what our DBAs update, delete or insert in the Oracle database. Can you recommend any good ones that are reasonable in cost? I am aware of auditing scripts but that won't work as our auditors are not computer-savvy and need something GUI-based that is easy to work with.
Unfortunately, there are no GUI-based auditing tools that I am aware of for Oracle. The best auditing mechanisms are Oracle's AUDIT command and the audit trail that it produces. One can view this audit trail in the DBA_AUDIT_TRAIL view. So I would suggest turning on auditing and then writing some GUI-based application to query the audit trail for your auditors.
