Exporting a full database mode from Oracle 10g

I'm encountering error messages trying to export a full database mode from Oracle 10g.

I have a problem with exporting a full database mode from Oracle 10g. Here is the error message.

 . exporting triggers

 EXP-00056: ORACLE error 4063 encountered

ORA-04063: package body "XDB.DBMS_XDBZ0" has errors

ORA-06508: PL/SQL: could not find program unit being called

 ORA-06512: at "XDB.DBMS_XDBUTIL_INT", line 65

 ORA-06512: at line 1

 EXP-00056: ORACLE error 4063 encountered

ORA-04063: package body "XDB.DBMS_XDBZ0" has errors

ORA-06508: PL/SQL: could not find program unit being called

 ORA-06512: at "XDB.DBMS_XDBUTIL_INT", line 65

 ORA-06512: at line 1

 EXP-00000: Export terminated unsuccessfully

What could I do to resolve this?

There are a couple of things you can try. The first is to recompile the invalid package body. Sign on as SYSTEM and issue the following:

ALTER PACKAGE XDB.DBMS_XDBZ0 COMPILE;

If there are no errors, try your import again.

If the above does not work, then it should help to rerun the CATALOG.SQL script. And for good measure, do the CATPROC script as well. Connect as SYS and issue the following:

@?/rdbms/admin/catalog
@?/rdbms/admin/catproc

Rerunning the CATALOG and CATPROC scripts fixes many of these errors. These scripts can be run at any time.

I did see one bug very loosely related to this problem, but it will not be fixed until the 10.1.0.4 version, which is not available yet.
