Error installing 9i on Red Hat Linux 9.0

I am trying to install Oracle9i on Red Hat Linux 9.0, but I get an error message. I would appriciate your reply.

./dbca: line 124: 27457 Killed
$JRE_DIR/bin/jre
-DORACLE_HOME=$OH -DJDBC_PROTOCOL=thin -mx64m
-classpath $CLASSPATH
oracle.sysman.assistants.dbca.Dbca $ARGUMENTS

The error that is causing your problem is "27457 Killed". You get this error when someone issues a "kill" command on your Linux system against this process. Apparently, this process is part of the DBCA, which is Oracle's tool to create the database. This should not preclude the software from being installed, just your database from being created. Try to fire up the DBCA manually from the command line and creating your database with the tool.
