Error at 56% during 10g installation on Windows 2003 server

I was installing 10g on a Windows 2003 server, and whenever it gets to 56% an error message appears: "Error in writing to file 'c:\oracle\product\10.1.0\Db_1\javavm\admin\classes.bin'; invalid entry size (expected 62208454 but got 62207526 bytes)."

There is a bug very similar to this reported with Oracle release 9.2 on the Windows platform. When a database is created with the Database Configuration Assistant (DBCA) using a seed template, this error occurs when a datafile is created that is larger than 2GB. The solution is to resize the datafile and retry the database creation. This bug is reportedly fixed in Oracle Database release 10.1 but it might be worth trying this solution to see whether it does resolve your problem.
