Delay with import from 32-bit to 64-bit

Will there be any delay in import due to bit changes of the database?

Will there be any delay in import due to bit changes of the database? In our case we are taking an export from a 32-bit Oracle database version 9.2.0.6 and importing the same to 64-bit Oracle Database version 9.2.0.6. The 45GB database took three days for the import. Is the bit change the reason for this?
I doubt that the change in word size, from a 32-bit word to a 64-bit word, caused the increase in your import processing time. If anything, the import should run a touch faster, but probably not enough to notice.

On my Web site I have a white paper titled "Tuning an Import with Wait Events." This might help you in figuring out how you can get your import to run faster.
