"Create service" error when starting DBCA

We installed a new Oracle 10g instance on a Windows 2003 server. When we started DBCA, Oracle threw the error "DIM-00019: create service error" and an O/S error (OS1388). A new member could not be added to the local group because the member has the wrong account type. Have you any experience with this problem?

There is a bug reported with this behavior that is fixed in Oracle 10g release 2. The workaround is to create and start the service manually, and then continue creating your database with the DBCA.
