Command to increase size of datafile

How can I increase the size of a datafile in any tablespace (what is the command)? How can I be sure that I have increased the right file size in the right schema?

How can I increase the size of a datafile in any tablespace (what is the command)? How can I be sure that I have increased the right file size in the right schema?
To modify the size of a datafile, use the following command:
ALTER DATABASE DATAFILE '/directory/filename' RESIZE xxx;
Where 'xxx' is the number of bytes. This can also be expressed in megabytes by using "xxxM" instead.

A datafile does not belong to any schema. A datafile only belongs to a tablespace. A tablespace can contain many...

segments from many schemas. Please review the Oracle Concepts guide for more information.
