Checking for software without running universal installer

I am on Oracle9i Enterprise Edition, which does not show the partitioning or objects options. I want to know whether the software is installed or not before I go ahead and enable it. Is there a way to check this other than running the universal installer?

I am on Oracle9i Enterprise Edition (Release 9.2.0.1.0 - Production), which does not show the partitioning or objects options. I want to know whether the software is installed or not before I go ahead and enable it. Is there a way to check this other than running the universal installer?
If you are not seeing these options installed, then they are probably not installed on your system. Shut down your Oracle 9.2.0 software and then install the components. If you do not shut down your software, then when Oracle recompiles its executables, they might not recompile correctly. Once you have completed these steps, fire up your databases.

SQL*Plus should show that the options are installed.
