Checking date when files were copied to testing database

I usually copy databases from production environment to testing environment, copying the datafiles from production and recreating the testing database. Is there any way to check the date of the testing database when datafiles were copied from production? I mean, I need to know the most recent date when the production datafiles where copied to testing datafiles.
There is no method to query the database to find out this information. The database datafiles will get their timestamp updated once you open the testing database and throughout the database's life. So you can't rely on the file timestamp either. The best method is to make a note somewhere of when you made this move.
