Can I install Oracle9i on Windows XP?

Can I install Oracle9i on Windows XP (Home)?

Can I install Oracle9i on Windows XP (Home)? If yes what settings do I have to set?
According to Oracle's Certification Matrix, only Windows XP Professional is supported, not XP Home. So, yes, you can install Oracle 9i release 2 but it is only supported and certified on Windows XP Professional. I would not recommend creating a production Oracle database on a Windows XP Home computer, but if you are only installing Oracle software strictly for educational purposes then I see no harm in it.
