Books about data warehousing

I have had an interest in data warehousing implementation for sometime now. I am convinced it is the future and have decided to build a skill in that area. I have a technical background - some database and software programming etc. What book do you recommend I pick up to read as a foundation for my education?

There are several good books on the market. For a good grasp of foundation and concepts, Start with The Corporate Information Factory by Claudia Imhoff, Building the Data Warehouse by Bill Inmon and the Data Warehouse Toolkit by Ralph Kimball.
