Any limit to number of views in 9i?

Is there a limit to the number of views that can be created in an Oracle9i database?
Chapter 4 of the Oracle9i Database Reference is where logical database limits are documented. There is no listed limit on the number of views that can be created.

Of course, there's a sensible limit on the number of views and your question leads me to want to know why you are creating enough views to think that you may hit a limit. There are a lot of features in Oracle that compliment views and you may want to think about using them. If you're thinking about creating separate views for each user, then consider Fine-Grained Access Control (FGAC) to implement one type of row-level security on the table. If you really think you may have enough views to hit a limit, then you may wish to reexamine your database design to ensure it is meeting your needs.
