AS versus IS

My question is regarding Oracle procedures and functions. The syntax for writing a procedure or function is as follows:

Create or replace procedure studat(id IN CHAR,sname OUT CHAR) AS/IS

Create or replace function studat(id IN CHAR,sname OUT CHAR) RETURN VARCHAR2
AS/IS
My question is when to use "AS" and when to use "IS".

The answer is easy. Use whichever you wish, whenever you wish. There is no difference.
