EXPERT ANSWER - How do I know that a migration from Oracle 8i to Oracle 9i has been done successfully? Is it possible to import a .dmp file exporting from Windows 2003 Server to a server running RedHat Linux?

EXPERT ANSWER - I have two HP-UX Servers, one with Grid Control and one with an Oracle 10g database. I am going to migrate them to Linux. Is it wise to put both on one new system, or better to keep them on two separate servers?

EXPERT ANSWER - You said it is not recommended to install Oracle binary files on a SAN in a RAC environment. What about a non-RAC environment where there is only one Oracle instance and server connected to one SAN?
