The Oracle Guru Question #4

There is no "one size fits all" when talking about RAID configurations for any database, according to SearchOracle.com expert Brian Peasland. But, in his opinion, one RAID level is almost unacceptable for most Oracle databases. It may be the cheapest solution, but its write operations can be twice as slow as compared to a normal file system. Which RAID level is he referring to?

a. RAID 0
b. RAID 1
c. RAID 0+1
d. RAID 3
e. RAID 5
