Is Oracle Exadata vs. SAP HANA a valid comparison?

With SAP's release of its High-Performance Analytic Appliance (HANA), many were quick to compare it to Oracle Exadata. While the comparison might hold some water, experts Alex Gorbachev of Pythian and John Appleby of Bluefin Solutions question whether the two appliances really deserve to be going head-to-head. That said, with future iterations of Exadata and HANA, the two experts say that Oracle and SAP seem headed on a crash course against each other.
