Software initiatives related to governance, risk and compliance (GRC) are high priorities for CIOs these days -- primarily because of the unprecedented rise in data retention regulations like The Sarbanes-Oxley Act and HIPAA -- and Oracle has taken notice.
Earlier this year, the company released its new Oracle Governance, Risk and Compliance Suite, which combines content management capabilities it acquired from Stellent Inc. with compliance functionality from the Oracle E-Business Suite.
SearchOracle.com caught up with Chris Leone, group vice president of Oracle's applications product strategy, to find out more about Oracle's overall GRC strategy. In this podcast interview, Leone breaks down the components of Oracle's new GRC suite, talks about some of the main GRC-related challenges facing companies today and explains where Oracle GRC technology is headed in the future.
