A new alliance between the Oracle Applications Users Group (OAUG) and the Australian Oracle Users Group (AUSOUG) promises to offer members of each organization expanded access to educational resources.
Under the new partnership, AUSOUG members will have expanded access to the OAUG community, according to the OAUG. In turn, OAUG members are being encouraged to participate in the face-to-face meetings and local events with AUSOG members throughout Australia.
The two groups will also continue to offer national and international conferences, state meetings, newsletters, technical briefings, business events, knowledge transfer and other member services.
"As Oracle expands its reach across the globe, so must the OAUG," Patricia Dues, president of OAUG, said in a statement.
With about 2000 member companies worldwide, the OAUG says it is the world's largest user knowledgebase for Oracle applications users.
The AUSOUG is represents more than 2,500 individual members and member companies.
