I'm trying to restore a specific table using... 
 
imp80 system/manager@fdev tables=(PS_VCHR_ACCTG_LINE)
file=G:PSOFTFNPR_FULL.DMP

I'm getting an ORA-1017 error telling me that the username/password is invalid. As I'm not an Oracle DBA, I'm having some trouble, can you bail me out?

The above statement is attempting to sign on to the FDEV database as the SYSTEM user. The default password for this user is MANAGER. It is highly likely that the default password for this very important user has been modified. You'll have to ask your Oracle DBA for the correct password. If you are the DBA and you do not know the password, then you'll have to proceed to the database server, fire up a DOS window and issue the following: 
svrmgrl
connect internal
alter user system identified by newpass;
exit;

The above changes the SYSTEM password to NEWPASS.
