QUESTION POSED ON: 19 November 2003
I am working at a client who wants to implement the latest vendor backup software. The production database is 8.0.5. The trouble is they want me to install/create a database in 8.0.5. Do you know any sites where I can download 8.0.5 standard/or EE version, just for a few days to test?

EXPERT RESPONSE
The only thing I can think of is eBay. You can't get it from Oracle's Store as they only go back to 8i listed as available. You might be able to contact Oracle by phone for an old eval copy.
