What is the best methodology for migrating an Oracle 9i 11.5 TB database from HP-UX to Sun Solaris as an Oracle 10g 11.5 TB database?

We have Veritas Filesystem (VxFS) on HP-UX. So, if we use the same Veritas Filesystem, will there be any issue?

Probably the best method for moving such a large DB from one OS to another is to leverage Oracle's Transportable Tablespaces (TTS) for the move. The file system does not matter. For more information on the TTS feature, consult the Oracle 10g Administrator's Guide, specifically the chapter on Managing Tablespaces.
